September 2002 – Objecta wins contract to supply analysis and architectural consultancy to Airdata Limited a producer of flight planning software used by several major airlines and operators in the UK. Objecta will introduce a lightweight software development process based on Rational’s Unified Process (RUP) along with a use case driven approach to capture the highly complex requirements needed for flight planning and management. This will include a series of interactive workshops with a mix of UML / use cases and UI prototype screens. Architectural solutions will utilise J2EE web technology and server based processing of real-time weather and NOTAM data feeds.
