ROBERTS REVIVAL R550 RADIO AM/FM/LW DARK BLUE
Here is a very nice example of a Roberts radio from their Revival series. This one is finished in dark blue leather cloth and is in excellent condition and fully working. The R550 has the standard FM / MW / LW bands with manual tuning for each. This is not a DAB model. The radio is powered from a PP9 battery or an external 9v adapter. Note that mains transformer adapters are best suited for radios rather than the lightweight switching adapters now available. Switching adapters create radio frequence interference that can be heard on AM (MW & LW) channels making reception impossible. Size (approx): Width 27cm Height 19cm Depth 12cm.
The telescopic aerial is perfectly straight, the grill is perfectly flat and the handle shows no sign of wear. Battery compartment is completely clean. A classic Roberts look with clear sound.
